Confrontation with no menace in it at all, just sincere bewilderment at something that cannot be accounted for. The structure carries the comedy: an accusation sandwiched between two identical exclamations, so the person being addressed is surrounded before they can begin explaining. Play it at pets discovered on kitchen counters, friends announcing plans with obvious structural flaws, and anybody caught mid-shenanigan with no cover story prepared. The second boi is doing considerable load-bearing work. Take it away and the line collapses.
