About the HHHAF sound

Read the title backwards and you have understood the file. This is the fahhh scream reversed from start to finish: instead of a bang that decays, you get a whisper that swells, gathering menace for two seconds and then cutting off dead at what used to be the beginning. Reversed audio has carried horror connotations for as long as tape machines have existed, and the trick works even on a meme scream. The crescendo feels like something approaching at speed. Play this, then the original, and the pair becomes a slingshot. The spelling is the honest part.

OriginThe viral 'fahhh' scream played in reverse.
