About the Minecraft Enderman sound

Reversed, warped and deeply wrong, the Enderman's vwoop is the sound of a very tall creature deciding you looked at it incorrectly. Much of the mob's audio is built from reversed and pitch-shifted recordings, so your brain flags it as unnatural before it has worked out what it actually is. In game it marks the moment the rules change (entirely peaceful until eye contact, then absolutely not). Good for teleport gags, sudden appearances, or replying to somebody holding prolonged and unwelcome eye contact across a Discord call. Whatever you do, do not look up.
