About the When the Imposter Is Sus sound

In November 2020 a Jerma985 fan ran the streamer's face through FaceApp, produced a smile no human face should hold, and posted it to Reddit. A Discord user captioned it 'When the impostor is sus!' and one of the most disturbing images of the Among Us era was complete. The audio treatment followed: fourteen slow seconds built to accompany that unblinking zoom, equal parts comedy and threat. It peaked in March 2021 and never fully left. Play it when someone in the call has gone suspiciously quiet, and let the silence do the accusing.

OriginAudio from the 'When the Impostor Is Sus' Jerma985 meme (2020).
