About the Screaming Chicken sound

One purpose, one noise, no redeeming features whatsoever. The rubber screaming chicken is a squeeze toy engineered to be unbearable, and it has been a slapstick prop for decades. It drives dogs to genuine distraction. It remains the fastest available method of ruining the atmosphere in any room you happen to be standing in. Mechanically there is nothing to it beyond a reed being badly abused, which somehow makes the result more offensive rather than less. Use responsibly, though nobody in recorded history has ever used a screaming chicken responsibly.
