Endless yellow rooms, damp carpet, and a fluorescent hum that never quite settles into silence. That is what this loop is built to suggest. The Backrooms started as a single 4chan post in 2019 and grew into a whole genre of found-footage horror, and in most of those videos the ambience does the heavy lifting — a low buzz, a faint drone from an air handler, nothing you can point at. Editors lay it under a static shot to make an ordinary corridor feel wrong. It also works quietly under a horror stream, where you want unease rather than a scare.
