Soundboard

67 Soundboard

Two numbers, said one after the other, and an entire school year lost to them. That is the whole meme, and the fact that it needs no more than that is the reason it conquered everything. Skrilla's «Doot Doot (6 7)» supplied the hook, basketball edits playing on the height 6'7" gave it somewhere to live, and Gen Alpha did the rest.

About the 67 Soundboard

The rules, such as they are: it is always «six, seven», never sixty-seven. It comes with a hand gesture, palms weighing the air like a set of scales. It answers questions it was not asked. Nobody who says it can tell you what it means, and pressing the point marks you as someone who was not supposed to ask.

What lives on this board is the set of variants that actually circulate. The original hook and the clean sound-effect cut for editors. The 67 Kid, whose courtside outburst turned one child into the meme's official face. The full song for people who want context, and the aura and brain-fart edits for people who very much do not. There is even a Christmas version, because of course there is.

Each button plays on tap, every clip downloads as a free MP3, and the story behind the meme has its own write-up if you need to explain it to someone over thirty.

67 Soundboard FAQ

The questions people ask most about these sounds.

What does 67 actually mean?

Nothing, and that is not a dodge. It comes from Skrilla's track Doot Doot (6 7) and got attached to basketball edits about being 6'7" tall, but as a chant it carries no message. It is a call-and-response: one kid says six, the room says seven. The absence of meaning is the engine, since there is nothing for adults to decode.

Is it six-seven or sixty-seven?

Always two separate numbers, six and then seven. Saying sixty-seven is the fastest possible way to reveal you learned about the meme from a news article. The pause between the numbers is where the joke lives.

Who is the 67 Kid?

A young basketball fan whose animated courtside reaction in a Cam Wilder video from March 2025 became the meme's face. The internet first called him Mason, a misidentification that grew into its own joke; his name has since been reported as Maverick Trevillian. His delivery of the chant, palms-up gesture included, is the version most edits reach for.

Which clip should I put on a Discord soundboard?

The sound-effect cut is trimmed for exactly that: short, clean, and it lands without the intro. The original hook runs longer and works better as an entrance sound. Download the MP3 from either page and load it into Discord's own soundboard.
